Looking back….we can tell a tree’s story…..admire an image…..capture a moment…..remember a special event…..be inspired – to create a memory for tomorrow.

Memory Lane – Demo Day October 2010 (Part One)
This was the third of our Demo Day lectures and on this occasion it featured three Junipers. This is the story of one of them.
This was a small almost shohin size Juniper Ittogawa that had been imported from Japan. The foliage mass had been allowed to grow to create good health and strong vigour. The trunk had excellent scope for further shari work.
After some initial pruning the branches were then completely wired. Styling and branch positioning could then take place. The branches were deliberately left long at the tips to help the tree recover and to maintain it’s strength and vigour. they would be gradually reduced during the following growing season.
