Midweek workshop

Any topical issues on general principles/refinement will be introduced at our discretion and discussed. These classes really are for everyone and generate a great atmosphere. Lots of different trees at varying levels give you an insight into your own bonsai future and help you determine where you want to go with this fascinating hobby.

Maples Three
You can bring any of your maples so that the progress for this season can be assessed and for advice on the correct autumn pruning required. Alternatively, you can purchase on the day a maple from our varied stock and start up a new project.

Pines and Junipers
Students can bring any pines and junipers from their collection for pruning/styling/ horticultural advice and work normally undertaken at this time of year. I will also have some pine and juniper material for sale at the class.

Larch Two
You can bring back your larch so that the progress so far can be assessed and for advice on pruning,wiring or repotting. Alternatively, you can purchase on the day a larch from our varied stock. You can start up a new larch project on this class or bring in trees from your collection for advice on design and styling.
