An interesting shohin Juniper but the foliage clouds do not relate to one another.

Viewed from the other side the problem becomes even more obvious. Two separate trunks with large masses of foliage at the ends and no overall shape.

What a difference a wiring can make! The tree is immediately more compact but with the foliage mass distributed around the trunk.

The transformation is even more dramatic from the front of the tree. The tree now has the basis of a mature overall canopy and all the foliage works well together.

A simple wiring and opening out of the branches to reveal an impressive shohin bonsai with a powerful trunk and a bright future.
